今回は、虫歯と歯の亀裂がある歯に対して行った、セラミックオーバーレイによる部分修復をご紹介します。

オーバーレイは、歯の一部をセラミックで覆い、歯の形態や機能の回復を目指す治療法です。

患者様の「できるだけ歯を削りたくない」というご希望に沿って、咬合面の削合量は約1mmにとどめました。

歯質をできるだけ保存しながら、必要な部分を適切に修復することを大切にしています。

Today, we would like to share a case involving a ceramic overlay restoration for a tooth with both dental caries and a crack.

A ceramic overlay is a partial restoration that covers and restores a portion of the tooth, helping to preserve as much of the natural tooth structure as possible.

In keeping with the patient's wish to minimize tooth reduction, we limited the reduction of the occlusal surface to just 1 mm.

Our goal is to restore the tooth's form and function while preserving as much healthy tooth structure as possible.
